Event Volunteers

Every year, many people run, swim, hike, and cycle to raise funds for Southampton Hospitals Charity. This would not be possible without the help of our volunteers. Whether it is helping at a cheering point, helping to manage the start area, or guiding participants, event volunteers play a vital role in making events happen.

Once you are in as an event volunteer it is easy to get hooked. For some people it is the excitement of the event day and for others, it is developing new skills and being ‘behind the scenes’ at places like the ABP Southampton Marathon, New Forest Marathon, or a one-off event like a Carol Service.
