Making Valentine’s Day extra special
This year we have been overwhelmed with the generosity of others this Valentine’s Day.
The Charity team were out and about sharing the love throughout all of Southampton General Hospital, Princess Anne Hospital, Southampton Children’s Hospital, and also the New Forest Birth Centre.
Our thanks to John Lewis Southampton for donating boxes of Quality Street chocolates.
We turned these into pick and mix bags with a variety of flavours for our hard working staff across all of our hospital sites.
Thank you so much – they were gratefully appreciated by all!
Our local community has also come together to provide Valentine’s Day cards, not just for every single patient currently in Southampton Children’s Hospital, but also the Medicine for Older People wards to show them that someone is thinking about them today.
A special thanks for the cards to: Milbrook Beavers Group, Fair Oak Infants School, Olivia and Victoria Carter, Rainbow Childminding, Little 1 Nursery Limited, Taplins childcare and learning centre,Mrs Ackrill, The Lillipot House, Redbridge Pre-school, and Freemantle Nursery.
