Hampshire Cricket’s fundraising surpasses £100,000
We are delighted to announce that Hampshire Cricket’s fundraising has surpassed £100,000!
The funds will support the construction of a specialist rehabilitation area within University Hospital Southampton’s General Intensive Care Unit (GICU). We are proud to continue the partnership with Hampshire Cricket, which has entered its third year.
Jeneen Thomsen, Head of Charitable Giving said: “It is incredible that Hampshire Cricket have surpassed £100,000 towards our GICU appeal. Their support means we can enhance the unit, and their money will specifically support a dedicated rehabilitation zone for our patients. We are so grateful for Hampshire Cricket’s ongoing support, thank you.”
Hampshire Cricket Foundation presented a cheque of £52,445, adding to the £50,587 previously donated in 2020. Surpassing £100,000 is truly an incredible feat, with the funds supporting the vital needs of the GICU.
In addition to this, Hampshire Cricket have launched a charity auction with a wide range of lots open for bids. The club is also continuing to donate a portion of each replica Hawkes kit sold.
