Festive jumper day success
For a second year running, our festive jumper day was a huge success!
Beth Hall, Head of Fundraising, said:
What an incredible day! Thank you to all the hospital wards and departments for taking part, the local businesses who supported us, and to everyone who joined in, making it a really fun initiative.
Our thanks to the New Forest Activities, HSBC and Metrobank volunteers for helping us throughout the hospital with various activities and for raising over £750.
Thanks also to Princess Belle from Enchanted Princess Parties, and Magic Jack for his magic tricks which spread so much joy to children across the hospital.
The event would not have been as much of a success without you, our supporters, for volunteering your time to help us, so thank you. When we join together, we can do incredible things.”
Congratulations to the Gynaecology and Breast Admin team for winning the ward decoration competition. The team, based at Princess Anne Hospital worked tirelessly to create a Santa’s workshop with life size snow men, a cosy fireplace, and an igloo office. Well done to everyone who took part.
Congratulations to the Surgery and Pharmacy team for winning the quiz held during festive day for our staff.
They were delighted to pick up the goodies, donated by Hols Hampers.
