Thank you for your support this Christmas

In 2020, we experienced a Christmas like no other.

We began to take in higher numbers of Covid+ patients, our Emergency Department and ICU’s were full, and were unable to accept physical gifts for those staying with us for treatment.

But thanks to your support, we were able to buy gifts for all of our patients, and also provide some treats for our staff giving up time with their families to work over the festive period.

Lighting up our wards with smiles this Christmas

Being in hospital over Christmas is tough.

Separated from loved ones, away from happy traditions, and often undergoing intensive treatment, you can feel very alone.

We do our very best to make it special for those who stay with us – young or old. Thank you for bringing a smile to those having a difficult time this Christmas.

A special festive thank you

At Christmas many of you wanted to thank our wonderful NHS heroes for the care received during the year. We know it meant the world to each and every one of them.

Throughout 2020, our staff worked tirelessly to ensure that our patients received the best possible care, even under the most challenging conditions.

Thanks to your donations, we could provide treats and hampers for our staff, and they loved reading your messages of support.

It provided them with a much-needed boost, and truly made their year!
