Golf day success with footballers

Thank you to all the teams who joined Southampton Hospital Charity and the Saints Foundation at our recent Charity Golf Day at Stoneham Golf Club on 26th September.

The wet start didn’t put a dampener on the day, and as the sun came out, everyone had a great time, especially those teams who played 18 holes of golf with an ex-Saints legends including Matt Le Tissier.

After golf, the teams were then treated to a three course meal, raffle, and question and answer session with the one and only Matt Le Tissier.

A fantastic £9,836 was raised in total on the day and will be split equally between both charities.

Golfers

Thank you to the headline sponsor Kingfisher Beer and to hole sponsors; BAM Construction, Biffa, Cooper Vision, Dutton Gregory, and Storage on Site. Without our sponsors, we could not have made the day the success it was, so thank you.

Special thanks to Southern Co-op and ASDA for providing refreshments at the half-way stops.
