Choirs bring festive cheer to the hospital

Throughout December we had an amazing number of choirs, musicians and dancers performing in our main reception, or local children singing in school assemblies to raise money for Southampton Hospital Charity.

Beth Hall, Head of Fundraising, comments:

Thank you so much to everyone who supported us and helped to spread some festive cheer at this time of the year.

We’ve received wonderful feedback from patients and relatives, some of whom wouldn’t have had the chance to hear a choir this year. We’re endlessly appreciative of the support we receive from our community and truly respect all the hard work and dedication involved in making our choir events a great success.

A special thanks to:

  • Living Lordswood choir
  • Love Soul
  • Southampton University Chamber choir
  • Breathe Easy choir
  • Gospel Phonics
  • Hoolie in the Kitchen
  • Ordnance Survey choir
  • Southampton Voce and the Salty Sea Dogs
  • Southampton Philharmonic choir
  • West End Singers
