Frequently asked questions
Where is the venue?
The Southampton 5k inflatable races are being held at the University of Southampton Sports Ground, Wide Lane, Eastleigh, SO50 5PE.
Please note that while parking is available at the site, it is charged at £5 per car so make sure you have change on the day for the parking marshals.
Is there an age limit?
The inflatable 5k is open for ages 5 and up. Children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a participating adult at all times (max 3 children per 1 adult).
What should I wear?
Want to get dressed up for the run? Go for it – Be as outrageous and bold as you want! UK Running Events recommend light running clothing, including a long sleeves top and good running shoes. A rain jacket is also a good idea if it is wet on the day.
Can I bring my friends and family to watch?
Yes, but why not encourage them to enter and give it a go! The inflatable 5k is not a race. It is all about having fun and taking part with friends and family. On the day entries are usually available if someone changes their mind and wants to take part.
